Kida ("we", "our", or "us") is a marketing automation platform operated by AIMPACT DIGITAL. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use Kida through the Shopify App Store or directly at kidamarketing.com.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use Kida, we collect:

Shopify store data: Your store domain, access token, and store configuration required to connect to the Shopify API.
Customer data: We access your Shopify customer list (names, email addresses, phone numbers, order history) solely to enable audience segmentation for your marketing campaigns.
Product and order data: Used to generate relevant campaign content about your products.
Brand configuration: Brand name, website URL, brand voice description, and words to avoid — entered by you in the app settings.
Campaign data: Campaign content, send history, and test results generated through the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

To sync your Shopify customer data for campaign audience segmentation
To generate AI-powered marketing copy using Anthropic Claude API
To send campaigns via email (AWS SES), WhatsApp (Meta Business API), Viber, and SMS (Twilio) on your behalf
To store your brand settings and campaign history
To provide customer support

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Kida uses the following third-party services to operate:

Anthropic — AI text generation (campaign copy). Data sent: brand prompt and product context.
Amazon Web Services (SES) — Email delivery. Data sent: recipient email addresses and campaign content.
Meta (WhatsApp Business API) — WhatsApp message delivery. Data sent: recipient phone numbers and message content.
Twilio — SMS delivery. Data sent: recipient phone numbers and message content.
Paddle.com: Payment processing and subscription billing as our Merchant of Record. Data sent: your account domain, billing email, country and payment details, which you enter directly with Paddle.
Neon (PostgreSQL) — Database hosting for storing merchant configuration and campaign data.
Vercel — Application hosting.

4. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at aimpact.rs@gmail.com. Customer data synced from Shopify is not permanently stored — it is fetched at campaign time and not retained beyond campaign processing.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure credential storage, and access controls. Shopify access tokens are stored securely and used only to interact with your store on your behalf.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at aimpact.rs@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Merchant Responsibilities

As a Kida merchant, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the app — including sending marketing messages to your customers — complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and local telecommunications regulations. You must have appropriate consent from your customers before sending them marketing communications.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Kida after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
